About This Activity
Description
Spark curiosity and hands-on learning in our Young Engineer Workshop—a fun and engaging introduction to coding and circuits for children aged 5–7! This workshop is specially designed to inspire young minds through playful exploration of basic engineering concepts. Kids will get a chance to dive into beginner-friendly coding using visual block-based tools like Scratch Jr or similar platforms, where they’ll learn to create simple animations and interactive stories. They’ll also explore the world of electronics by building simple circuits using safe, child-friendly materials such as LEDs, batteries, and snap-on components. Through creative challenges and guided activities, children will develop problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a love for how things work. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a sense of wonder! By the end of the workshop, each child will have built mini projects they can proudly share, laying the foundation for future exploration in STEM fields.Activity Secondary Category
