Emily Bryan, Instructor Emily Bryan is an educator, art history buff, and creative thinker who has taught in various school, museum, and camp settings for over 15 years. She enjoys working with diverse learners and has led classes and workshops for all ages from preschoolers through retired adults, and she currently teaches middle and high school English and social studies at The Fulton School in Chesterfield. Her approach to test prep starts with a sensitivity to the needs of her students and aims to build skills for a lifetime love of learning, while having as much fun as possible! Course Outcomes: -Reduce test-taking stress -Learn strategies to show academic ability without being distracted by tricks -Develop vocabulary and word sense using Latin and Greek roots -Gain test-taking confidence that will assist in future testing This course will introduce strategies for each section of the ERB test. Students will learn question types, practice elimination strategies, and build content skills. The goal of the course is not only to increase comfort and confidence with the ERB, but also to develop skills that translate to academic success and analytic thinking in the classroom. No class during Spring Break.
