About This Activity
Vocal Explorers aims to provide students with the fundamentals of healthy vocal technique in addition to improving their aural skills, ensemble skills, communication skills, and overall musicianship (introducing elementary principles of sight-singing). Through a repertoire based approach students will have many opportunities to develop technical and expressive skills. In addition to the musicianship skills students will gain throughout their time in this ensemble, they will also benefit from working as a part of a team, working with their peers towards a common goal. Designed specifically for young singers from 3rd to 8th grade, this program will help them discover and develop their voice in a fun and supportive environment.
