About This Activity
This workshop introduces our students to the concepts of a Summer Stock Theatre production, going from audition through performance in a 2-week period. Throughout the 2-weeks of our Musical Theatre Workshop, students will be introduced to the 3 components of Musical Theatre. Placing focus on script and utilizing theatre games, students will develop fundamental acting, vocal and dance skills that not only teach the art form, but impact self-confidence, creativity, and imagination. Students will then take their newfound skills and apply them to the production. The workshop concludes with a performance on the Macomb Center's main stage. Week 1 is Wed-Fri, Week 2 is Mon-Fri
