About This Activity
This outstanding program allows students to put their singing and dancing skills together in a review of popular musical numbers! In this week-long workshop, students will have the opportunity to learn about vocal technique, song interpretation and dance from top-rated professional choreographers and vocal coaches. Hard work and camaraderie will result in artistic and personal growth. Some choir experience and singing ability helpful. All experience levels are accepted. In most instances, full mobility is required to appear in all choreographed numbers. The workshop culminates with a final performance on the Macomb Center’s main stage at 7:30pm on Saturday, the workshop’s last day. Come see the magic created by our talented students in just one week! Please Note: Performances may include flashing (strobe) lighting and haze effects. Students who have sensitivities should alert the education and outreach team prior to the workshop.
