Musical Theatre Workshop Presenting in 2026 High School Musical Intensive This workshop introduces our students to the concepts of a Summer Stock Theatre production, going from audition through performance in a two-week period. Students learn from our community partners at All The World’s A Stage (ATWAS). Placing focus on script and utilizing theatre games, students will develop fundamental acting, vocal and dance skills that not only teach the art form, but impact self-confidence, creativity, and imagination. Students will then take their newfound skills and apply them to the final production. The workshop concludes in two performances on the Macomb Center's main stage. For Summer 2026 we will be performing High School Musical. WORKSHOP DATES: Mon. July 6 - Sat. July 11 from 9:00am - 4:00pm & Mon. July 13 - Thurs. July 16 from 9:00am - 4:00pm AUDITION WORKSHOP & AUDITIONS: MONDAY, JULY 6th from 9am-4pm. All students stay all day DRESS REHEARSAL AND SHOW DATES & TIMES: DRESS REHEARSAL: Fri. July 17, from 9:00am-3:00pm Students cannot stay between dress rehearsal and show time on Friday. All actors must be picked up at 3pm and return for the show at 6:30pm PERFORMANCE #1: Friday, July 17: Actor Arrival: 6:30pm Show time: 8:00pm PERFORMANCE #2: Saturday, July 18: Actor Arrival: 11:30am Show time: 1:00pm
