About This Activity
Description
Accompanied by a parent and/or caregiver, infants and toddlers gain comfort in the water, while developing swim readiness skills. Your infant or toddler will enjoy engaging, confidence-building experiences, and you can learn more about water safety, drowning prevention and techniques for safely supervising children in the water. Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children one to four years old and the second leading cause of accidental death in children five to 14 years old. Most drowning deaths are preventable, which is why ensuring your child is comfortable in the water and having the skills to keep them safe is essential.
No class will be held on Memorial Day Monday, May 30. The last class will be held on Monday, June 13.
