About This Activity
NEW***ADVANCED CHESS PROGRAM with Coach Otis Grades K-5th Cost of Class-$530 Maximum of 6 students Students MUST already know how to play. Students will be assigned homework as well as may need to purchase training material for work at home (chess books/courses or subscription to chess websites such as chess.com etc.) This class is the training program for the NBPS K-5 chess team. Students must be willing to travel for chess tournaments. For students who are very passionate about improving their play and United States Chess Federation (USCF) rating through competitive tournament play. Students will be taught advanced training methods by USCF National Master (NM) Otis Wilson. Classes will become more intensive and rigorous throughout the school year.
