Farm To Table Explorers Get ready to dig, plant, harvest, cook, and discover! In this exciting hands-on enrichment class, students will experience the incredible journey from seed to table while developing a lifelong appreciation for nature, healthy eating, and sustainable living. Students will plant and harvest fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs, collect eggs from our chickens, bottle their own honey, and prepare delicious recipes using the foods they help grow. Along the way, they'll discover how healthy soil, composting, pollinators, and sustainable gardening practices work together to create a thriving ecosystem. Young explorers will design and care for a vibrant pollinator garden, learn about the important role of bees and other beneficial insects, and help care for our gardens and animals. Through outdoor adventures, science experiments, gardening projects, and farm-to-table cooking experiences, students will gain a deeper understanding of where their food comes from while building responsibility, teamwork, creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
