About This Activity
***NEW PROJECTS GREEN THUMBS with Mrs. Vester Grade K-5th Cost of Class-$ 530 Maximum 20 students In this fun, hands-on enrichment, students will explore the exciting world of gardens, food, and animals. They will help care for our school gardens, pick fresh vegetables, and use them to make tasty snacks to enjoy together. Students will learn different ways to grow plants and discover how gardens help people and the planet. They will also have the special opportunity to help take care of our chickens in the coop and learn how to be kind and responsible animal helpers. In addition, students will help harvest honey and extract it from the frames. This enrichment encourages curiosity, teamwork, and a love for nature while connecting students to where their food comes from in a joyful, hands-on way.
