TRAVEL THROUGH CHINA WITH FOOD AND CRAFTS with MRS. XIA In this exciting enrichment class, students will travel through China by exploring famous cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi’an. Through hands-on activities, children will make and taste traditional Chinese foods such as tanghulu and dumplings while learning about the unique culture and traditions of each region. Students will also celebrate popular Chinese festivals throughout the year. They will make mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival, create authentic lanterns for the Lantern Festival, and participate in fun cultural crafts and activities. Through immersive experiences, games, music, crafts, and beginner Chinese language learning, students will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture in a joyful and engaging environment.
