Join us in our nineteenth century one room cabin, as we present and discuss the history of log structures in the Middle Tennessee Valley. We will discuss the origins of log cabin construction, their introduction to the Tennessee frontier and how a typical frontier family would have utilized and grown their cabin and outbuildings as their family and homestead expanded. Additionally, we will also be discussing some of the historical items that we have on display in our log cabin exhibit. We hope you will join us for a step back into the past.
