About This Activity
Description
The league is designed to introduce youth to the game of basketball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching the fundamental basketball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. A team will consist of 7-10 players. Teams will practice for one hour a week. The league will have eight weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. Team t-shirts are available at registration for $15 each. No games or practices the week of Jun. 30.
Coaches must contact the Parks and Recreation Department to provide their team information, book a practice time, and set up a team code. The team code is required for registration.
