The league is designed to introduce boys and girls to the game of basketball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching fundamentals basketball skills, sports ethics, and league competition. League participation will be capped at a maximum of 40 teams across all age divisions. A team will consist of 7-10 players. Teams will practice for one hour each week the league will have six weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single-elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. There will be no practice or games the week of June 28- July 4.
Team Registration
Coaches must contact the Parks and Recreation Department to provide team information, book practice, and set up team code. the team code is required for registration.
Ages: Boys: 8U, 10U, 12U
Girls: 8U, 10U, 12U
Team Registration: March 30 - April 24
Team Fee: $75/player (Early Bird $65 until April 3 at 5:00PM)
Season Dates: June 8 - August 8
Location: Recreation Center
Do not forget to bring water and please bring any ankle braces or basketball shoes if needed!
