Amusement Park Adventures (AM)Step into the thrilling world of theme park engineering with Snapology’s Amusement Park Adventures camp! Beyond the excitement of rides, this program invites students to explore the fascinating science and engineering behind the creation of fast, dropping, and spinning attractions. As young engineers, participants will delve into core physics and engineering concepts, applying their newfound knowledge to design and construct their own amusement park rides. Each day brings the challenge of building new rides, culminating in the grand finale – assembling a spectacular themed park on the last day of camp! Ignite your child's curiosity and passion for engineering in this exciting journey through the science of Amusement Park Adventures!
Brick Art and Design Lab (PM)
Embark on a creative journey with Snapology's Brick Art and Design Lab! As your child delves into the fascinating realms of art history, exploring different art forms and periods including machines in art. They will simultaneously interpret and recreate iconic masterpieces and their own creations using LEGO® bricks. Drawing inspiration from renowned works such as Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” Van Gogh’s “Starry Night,” Wright’s “Falling Water,” and many more, students will not only gain insights into famous artists and art movements but also cultivate their unique artistic expression. By the end of this enriching experience, your child will not only share knowledge about the rich tapestry of art history but also have crafted their own imaginative works of art, bridging the past and the future in a truly inspiring way.
