The league is designed to introduce boys and girls to the game of volleyball. It was created to provide a safe, fun environment to learn the game through practices, teaching the fundamental volleyball skills, sport ethics, and league competition. League participation will be capped at a maximum of 40 teams across all age divisions. A team will consist of 8-12 players. Teams will practice for one hour a week. The league will have eight weeks of regular season games, played on Saturdays, followed by a single elimination tournament. Players will receive a jersey. Free agent players will be placed on a team based on information provided at registration, if and when a coach volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to coach, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department. Staff will email practice and team details once a free agent player has been placed on a team. If staff is unable to place a free agent player on a team, a refund will be provided. Service fees assessed online are non-refundable. Free agent registration will end a week early on Jul. 31 to help accommodate team placement.
