The battle as old as the game itself and this camp will train and pit the scorers against the stoppers. Who will come out on top? Strikers Players take more shots on goal here than at any other camp. We start by teaching the proper form/technique and build up to working on every area where scoring chances occur and cover all types of Shooting/Finishing situations. Our shooting exercises allow players to build muscle memory so scoring goals becomes second nature. The training methods and activities we use have benefited players at all levels, from young players just learning from the beginning to players with College or Professional aspirations perfecting the art of scoring goals. Training Topics for Striker Camp: • Ensuring proper technique of Right & Left foot shot • 1st Time & 2 touch shots from distance • Receiving w/back to goal, turning & Finishing • 1v1 technique’s to Goal • Side Volleys & Half Volleys • Headers w/Near & far Post runs • Curving Shots, Chipping Balls • Breakaways, 1v1 with keeper • 1 v 1’s, 2 v 1’s, 2 v 2’s, 3 v 3’s, Small Sided Games Goalkeepers The goalkeeper camp will employ modern training methods that are used throughout the US and Europe. Campers will be challenged to refine his or her technique, and push themselves to reach a higher level of performance each time they step on the field. Our goalkeeper’s academy will run at the same time as our Striker Academy. Training Topics for Goalkeeper Camp: • Shot Blocking • Catching and Ball Handling • Reaction and Anticipation • Footwork, Collapse/Extension Diving • Dealing with Breakaways • Distribution Camp Information- **June 3rd-June 7th **9am-Noon (Ages 6-14) **$175 per camper. **Free Dry-Fit T-Shirt for every player. **Multiple camper discount- $20 off each additional camper.
