About This Activity
Description
This after school program integrates picture books, sensory play, crafts. Movement and writing to create a holistic learning experience. Each week we will engage with a carefully selected picture book, which serves at the foundation for various activities. Children will have the opportunity to explore textures and materials through sensory play, express their creativity with crafts and promote physical development with movement and articulate their thoughts and feelings through writing. This program will foster a love for reading as well as encourage creativity. This activity will be held on Wednesdays during HSD2 school day from 4-6pm through the school year.
