About This Activity
Description
Experience the basics of two highly-popular outdoor adventure activities in a fun and safe environment. Become HCRP-certified in kayaking from a certified instructor and practice your skills through a variety of fun games and drills on the water. Learn basic archery techniques and practice your skills in a variety of archery games. Fee includes instruction, equipment and activities. Must have basic swimming skills to participate in water activities. Fee includes van or bus transportation to camp locations during camp if necessary. We will try to keep groups consistent throughout the week. All campers must provide their own snacks (no peanut products) and bring plenty of water. Detailed information and camp participant forms will be emailed to registrants approximately two weeks prior to the start of each camp session. Schedule is subject to change; camp may be cancelled in case of inclement weather. In most cases, Friday will be used as a makeup day. Prompt drop off and pickup of child(ren) at recreational programs is mandatory. Special accommodations are available but not guaranteed. Requests must be made at least two weeks in advance.
