Experience the basics of two popular outdoor adventure activities in a fun and safe environment. Become HCRP-certified in kayaking from our highlytrained instructors and practice your skills through fun games and drills on the water. Learn basic archery techniques and show off your skills in a variety of archery games. Fee includes instruction, equipment, and activities. If your child will need to bring medication with them to camp, please fill out the Medication Administration Authorization Form (Camps) found by clicking here. After clicking link, got to "Camps, Classes, and Activities". It requires a doctor's signature, so please allow enough time for it to be complete before the start of camp.
Must have basic swimming skills to participate in water activities. Life jackets provided for kayaking. Fee includes van or bus transportation to camp locations during camp if necessary. We will try to keep groups consistent throughout the week. All campers must provide their own snacks (no peanut products) and bring plenty of water. Detailed information and camp participant forms will be emailed to registrants approximately two weeks prior to the start of each camp session. Schedule is subject to change; camp may be cancelled in case of inclement weather. In most cases, Friday will be used as a makeup day. Prompt drop off and pickup of child(ren) at recreational programs is mandatory. Special accommodations are available but not guaranteed. Requests must be made at least two weeks in advance.
