Become an animal hero! Meet reptiles, amphibians, and insects during live animal encounters. Learn about, and assist with, behind-the-scenes animal care and feeding. Discover how to protect local wildlife and create bird feeders, toad houses and more to help the animals that visit your neighborhood. Enjoy going down to our river, playing outdoors and creating animal-inspired crafts.
Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather with a hat & sunscreen. Bring a nut-free snack, lunch, and reusable water bottle.
Refund Policy: Customers requesting a refund prior to three weeks before the camp starts will be charged a 20% administrative fee. However, a 100% refund can be issued to your Howard County Recreation and Parks account for future use instead. All refunds requested within three weeks of the camp starting date will be charged at minimum a 20% administrative fee. Additional fees may be assessed to recover costs associated with the camp. There are no refunds given for missed camp days.
