This full-day camp is jam-packed with fun. Discover the best way to search for wildlife outdoors by studying the signs that animals leave behind. Learn about outer space and the moon through hands-on activities and games. Trek down to the river to search for creatures and play in the cool waters of the Middle Patuxent River. Bring a towel, a bathing suit, and closed-toe water shoes.

Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather with a hat & sunscreen. Bring a nut-free snack, lunch, and reusable water bottle.

Refund Policy: Customers requesting a refund prior to three weeks before the camp starts will be charged a 20% administrative fee. However, a 100% refund can be issued to your Howard County Recreation and Parks account for future use instead. All refunds requested within three weeks of the camp starting date will be charged at minimum a 20% administrative fee. Additional fees may be assessed to recover costs associated with the camp. There are no refunds given for missed camp days.
