Whoever said that chemistry is just for older campers, was mistaken! Our youngest campers love digging into and examining the results of nearly two dozen different crazy chemical concoctions! They mix and measure their way through the week as they create several wacky and wild concoctions, including Funny Putty, Chewing Gum, and Elephant’s Toothpaste. Our little chemists also learn the importance of thinking like a scientist and using the Scientific Method as they conduct experiments. As they investigate the cleaning power of taco sauce and the chromatography properties of candy, they discover first-hand the importance of asking questions and being curious. All-day camps: bring a non-perishable, nut-free lunch, snack, and reusable water bottle. Half-day camps: bring a non-perishable, nut-free snack and reusable water bottle.
If your child will need to bring medication with them to camp, please fill out the Medication Administration Authorization Form (Camps) is attached above for you to download and fill out. It requires a doctor's signature, so please allow enough time for it to be complete before the start of camp.
