About This Activity
Description
Develop outdoor adventure skills, improve self-esteem, and explore the natural environment with activities and games. Enjoy a fun, action-packed week of canoeing, archery, hiking, team building, swimming, and flat-water tubing on a Maryland creek. Must be able to pass a basic swim test to participate in this camp. Campers must be able to pass a basic swim test. We will try to keep groups consistent throughout the week. All campers must provide their own non-perishable lunch and snacks (no peanut products) and bring plenty of water. Detailed information and camp participant forms will be emailed to registrants approximately two weeks prior to the start of each camp session. Schedule is subject to change; camp may be cancelled in case of inclement weather. In most cases, Friday will be used as a makeup day. Prompt drop off and pickup of child(ren) at recreational programs is mandatory. Special accommodations are available but not guaranteed. Requests must be made at least two weeks in advance.
