About This Activity
Description
During this workshop we will explore the importance of understanding and addressing children's emotions and behaviors through a lens rooted in the idea that empathy-being able to understand and share the feelings of others-is essential for building strong, supportive relationships between caregivers, teachers and children. We will explore children's emotions and behaviors and responsive caregiving in a way that supports the child's emotional needs. Educators will be able to deepen their connection between emotions, actions, and behaviors to create a more compassionate and cooperative classroom environment. Registration fees are non-refundable. Credit for future use may be issued prior to Friday, May 30th, no changes or cancellation after the registration deadline (May 24th) without valid documentation and Training Coordinator approval.
