Location: Freetown Farm (8000 Harriet Tubman Ln, Columbia, MD 21044, United States)
Join us at Freetown Farm for extended play time outside! At our event, we’ll be exploring pollinators! We’ll have nature free-play stations and enjoy a StoryWalk before returning to the gazebo for a closing circle.
What to Wear: Dress for the weather! September temperatures can be wildly variable; be aware of the forecast, dress in layers, and keep the event activity in mind…clothes are very likely to get dirty! Sturdy shoes that can handle some muddy conditions would be a good idea. You may want to apply sunscreen and bug spray based on your family’s preferences – the sun is getting stronger and shade is minimal while we wait for the trees to leaf out, also ticks are more prevalent as temperatures are consistently above freezing – please do so before the event begins. Please do thorough tick checks after events.
