About This Activity
Description
Discover the basics of target archery! Learn basic techniques and form using recurve and compound bows from an USA Archery-certified instructor. Equipment, safety and elements of shooting are covered. No experience necessary – take this introductory course to be eligible for the HCRP Target Archery Skills Club and/or use HCRP equipment during Open Range time.
Private small group & family lessons with a USA Archery-certified instructor available – take a lesson then practice your skills during Open Range time! Family of three or more? A Friends & Family Adventure can meet the Intro requirement and may save you money! One 90-min target archery Friends & Family Adventure is $135 for up to three participants (add another archer or two for $25 each). Detailed info will be sent to the email of the participant about a week prior to the program – check your registration to be sure you get it! No experience necessary and all equipment provided for use during the program. This class meets the Intro requirement for future HCRP Target Archery programs – you do not have to wait to sign up for the Archery Club but you must complete the Intro class BEFORE the start date of your Archery Club section.
