Vipers Wrestling Recreational LeagueLearn valuable skills and techniques while participating in the Vipers Wrestling Program. The Vipers Program offers 3 unique opportunities to compete at a level which best fits each child’s needs: Clinic RP5950.201, Recreational RP5950.211 and Advanced RP5951.221.
No class dates: 11/27/24, 11/28/24-11/29/24, 12/23/24-1/1/25, 1/20/25
Recreational League is for both beginners and intermediate level wrestlers in a semi-competitive environment, two practices per week, matches on Saturdays. Our Rec League is the biggest in the state. We recommend wrestlers after 1 to 2 years in Rec and have finished in the top 1 or 2 spots during tournaments at least try an Advanced Team practice if interested in competitive wrestling.Info: Amy Patton, 410-313-4718 or apatton@howardcountymd.gov. Recreational League
- 6 to 14 years old
- Beginner and Intermediate, semi-competitive
- Practice 2 nights a week at area High schools in the wrestling rooms or Aux. Gym
- Season runs from - Nov 11-Feb 8
- Largest Rec league in the state (We have 2 to 5 out of county teams also participate in our league each year)
- Meets/ tournaments are held on Saturdays at Gary J Arthur Community Center
- Rec practices are usually an hour and a half and are held between these times: 6-8:00pm
- Saturday Match Dates (Times TBD): 12/14, 12/21, 1/4, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8
No class dates:11/27/24, 11/28/24,11/29/24, 12/23/24-1/1/25, 1/20/25.
