About This Activity
Description
Join Western Howard County’s premier Baseball, Softball and Tee Ball Leagues this Spring! Experienced coaches and great organizational leadership will provide practices to work on skills (hitting, throwing, groundballs, running the bases) and games to have exciting, competitive fun! Likely practice and game locations include Western Regional Park, Alpha Ridge Park, and Western Howard County school fields. Games will begin in early April. Parents will receive an email in March with specific team information (practice night/location, coach's info, and game schedule). Schedule for all divisions EXCEPT T-BALL include a weeknight game, a Saturday game and one practice per week. T-Ball plays one game per week on Saturdays and has one practice per week. Additional practices may be scheduled as a make-up for a postponed practice due to weather or field conditions. Weeknight games start at 5:45pm in April and 6pm in May and June. All practice days, times and locations are subject to coaches’ and field availability. Baseball age groups 11/12, 13/14 and 15/18 and all Softball teams play in the Alliance league comprised of other Howard County leagues. Travel to other parts of Howard County may be required.
