Come get familiar with basic programming Driving Base with LEGO® EV3 robotics kit. This camp focuses on building with the LEGO® sensors and motors. Enjoy lessons on switches, loops, programming bits, line follower, autonomous parking, gripper bot assembly, logic operations, and decision making. In the afternoon, learn basic concepts about electricity and polarity by creating a simple Leyden jar (an electrical component that stores a high-voltage electric charge). Learn logic gates, dough circuit, tripwire alarm, conductive paint, motor generator, wobble bot, and more. Info: Daneisha Nicholas, 410-313-4625 or dnicholas@howardcountymd.gov.
If your child will need to bring medication with them to camp, please fill out the Medication Administration Authorization Form (Camps) found by clicking here: https://www.howardcountymd.gov/recreation-parks/forms-publications.
