About This Activity
Description
Become a Crime Scene Investigator and learn about actual crime scene setups! Use the tools used in the field to collect and examine evidence. Conduct an analysis on fingerprints, handwriting, fibers, simulated blood, and DNA! Learn about crime scene models (ex: the Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death) and how detectives and police used them to learn and practice the art and science of detailed forensic-based detection. As the investigator, bear in mind that there is a two-fold responsibility: to clear the innocent and expose the guilty. All-day camps: bring a non-perishable, nut-free lunch, snack, and reusable water bottle. Half-day camps: bring a non-perishable, nut-free snack and reusable water bottle.
