About This Activity
Description
Make no bones about it, this camp is for the aspiring Jr. Physician. Learn that your bodies contain miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, and a computer! Throughout the week, build a lung model, create a spinal column, become a lab technician as you swab and grow bacteria, and complete many more fun experiments that concentrate on anatomy and physiology. All-day camps: bring a non-perishable, nut-free lunch, snack, and reusable water bottle. Half-day camps: bring a non-perishable, nut-free snack and reusable water bottle.
If your child will need to bring medication with them to camp, please fill out the Medication Administration Authorization Form (Camps) found by clicking here: https://www.howardcountymd.gov/recreation-parks/forms-publications. After clicking link, got to "Camps, Classes, and Activities". It requires a doctor's signature, so please allow enough time for it to be complete before the start of camp.
