Discover a variety of animation tools and techniques, from classic hand-drawn styles to cutting-edge digital animation. Throughout the camp, collaborate on exciting projects, learn from industry-inspired workshops, and bring your own characters and stories to life. Whether you're a beginner or a budding animator, develop your skills and unleash your creativity in a fun, supportive environment.iCode Drone Code : Programming with Python 3 Focusing on data analysis and quick decision-making, learn to maneuver through drone obstacle courses using the Python 3 programming language. The relationship between software and hardware becomes apparent as you code solutions to the limitations of their environments and toolsets. With a solid foundation in Python 3, plot the course, code, and take off!
iCode Shark Tank: Create & Pitch Your Own ProductLearn how to think like a creative entrepreneur and compete in a crowded marketplace with unique solutions to tomorrow’s problems. Working with professional tools like Adobe XD gain a competitive edge and learn what is needed to take an idea to market. Collaborate with other campers in completing group and individual projects. As entrepreneurs have the opportunity to build a startup with your friends, create sophisticated websites, develop marketing plans, and create 3D print prototypes. At the end of this busy week, pitch your projects to a panel of iCode’s top sharks and learn how to negotiate funding!
iCode Creative Lab: 3D Printing and DesignThis camp is dedicated to exploring the ins-and-outs of one of the most interesting areas in tech. 3D printing is a mode of product development that is fast, easy, and creative! Campers work throughout the week to design and print their own creation! Campers use a development style called rapid prototyping, where development starts at a basic idea, which moves to designing models and finally a finished product. This camp is the perfect blend of creativity and productivity!
iCode Jr Programmer:Intro to 2D Game Development with ScratchCampers learn to create games and advanced applications using the Scratch programming language. Integrate functions, custom code blocks, and physical components into their projects while also gaining other important skills like flowcharting, and principles of electrical engineering. Learn to develop games similar to Flappy Birds, Pac-Man, and other platformer games.
iCode Roblox Design Intro: Capture the Flag Dive into game development using Roblox Studio. Each day, campers learn fundamental skills in game design, 3D modeling, and scripting to create their interactive environments, culminating in a "Capture the Flag" multi-player experience.
Junior Robotics: Programming with Vex 123Using the VEX 123 platform, campers engage in hands-on activities that progress from simple robot control to block-based programming. Tackle fun challenges like navigating obstacle courses and completing real world-inspired tasks, all while building skills in creative problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking.
iCode Minecraft Survival: The Building Blocks of CodingLearn conditionals, functions, coordinates and more in block-based coding and JavaScript. Design an original creative project to program four tools for a survival backpack to help in a Minecraft world.
iCode Roblox: Code the Spooky AdventureDive into the eerie side of game design as you build your own spooky adventure in Roblox Studio. Learn the basics of creating immersive environments by customizing haunted maps with chilling details like fog, flickering lights, and creepy sounds. Using beginner-friendly coding, add interactive elements such as doors that creak open, simple puzzles, and scripted jump scares to keep players on edge. Craft your own multi-level horror experience in the classic Roblox style—complete with atmosphere, scares, and plenty of room for their imagination to shine.
Minecraft: Cyber DefendersUse Minecraft: Education Edition to learn about cybersecurity, guiding you from digital citizenship to cyber expert. The curriculum is divided into three main sections: “Cyber Safe” to learn foundational digital safety skills such as identifying phishing scams and creating strong passwords; “Cyber Fundamentals” to gain hands-on network building and data encryption exercises as part of an Incident Response Team; and “Cyber Expert” to explore advanced topics including social engineering, malware, and ransomware, with lessons on how to protect against and respond to real-world threats. The program is designed to be a comprehensive and engaging introduction to cybersecurity principles and career paths.
