About This Activity
Description
"Growing Green 1,2,3" How do we teach campers to Grow Strong? This week we want to encourage the steps of "going green" and what growing strong together looks like through taking care of things and people to create those healthy habits and relationships needed for our best lives. Our goal is to educate while having fun and planting a seed to take care of each day. Whether that be an actual seed or an action that has a domino effect on lowering our Carbon Footprinting. We will explore what recycling looks like in creative activities, take a trip to a local farm or market with a special speaker who can explain organic vs. processed, etc. Campers can enjoy nature together on metro park trips with interactions with animals and plants all week.
