Late pick-up from 4pm - 5pm.$100 deposit required at time of registration.Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is poised and eager to offer this rare opportunity for your child to dive deep into the world of clay. Does your child already love to imagine, build, and create? Us too! While attending the Clay Academy, your child will enjoy two weeks in an immersive art experience, working each day in hand-building and wheel-throwing, walking away with ceramic creations that you can use and cherish for years to come. We explore everything from sculpture to surface design to fun clay challenges and creating functional cups and bowls*. We will create in mid-range clay and glaze for high-end finishes and durability.
*To ensure a successful experience, this camp is best suited for participants who are able to focus for a significant period of time, follow multi-step instructions, and work independently in a group setting. Studio sessions will be 90-120 minutes in length twice a day.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payment is required for registration and can be made in full, or you can choose to have automatic payments charged to the credit card on file. Automatic payments are charged starting the first Friday in April, and are drafted weekly until the last Friday in May or until balance is paid in full. All camp fees must be paid in full prior to the first day of camp. If you wish to pay by credit card, a card on file is required at the time of registration. You also have the option to pay in person at your local community center prior to the withdrawal dates. Contact the community center for more information.REFUND POLICYTo receive a refund, a request must be made using Camp Refund Request Form.
For a full refund, complete the form at least 10 business days prior to the camp session.
• Requests received five to 10 business days prior to camp session will receive a 50 percent refund.• Requests received less than five business days prior to camp session will not receive a refund.
• Refunds take six to eight weeks to process
• A $15 processing fee will be assessed for each refund request.
