About This Activity

Description

Description: Camp S.W.E.A.T. (Sisters Who Encourage and Teach) is a dance camp designed for participants to learn different dance styles and spend time getting to meet peers who are also interested in dance. Participants will learn 3 genres with a mixture of dance and step to perform at an end of camp showcase on July 20th. Participants will also have the opportunity to choreograph and perform their own (short) piece! Music for individual choreographed pieces must be appropriate (no foul language and no explicit lyrics/content). Songs selected will be screened.

*Dates are subject to change*

$80 per participant, with an additional $20 materials fee that will be collected by instructors the 1st day of each camp week.The material fee will cover the cost of a t-shirt and additional items needed for the showcase.

**Please note since we only have 3 days to learn routines that attendance is MANDATORY for your 3 days of camp and 2 days of tech week for performance in the Showcase**
