Description
We are excited to introduce Elevate: A Summer Movement Experience, for 6th-12th grade Placement and PrePro Students. Throughout the week-long experience, dancers will take class in a variety of styles. Classes will be led by DDC&G teachers as well as guest professionals, giving dancers a unique opportunity to experience new perspectives and training.Each week will include movement exploration and choreography, culminating in an end-of-week performance showcase as well as additional performing opportunities. A chance to grow technique, artistry, and to inspire endless momentum.
Week of July 6: Each day will feature multiple technique classes and choreography sessions focusing on Precision Jazz, Dance Team, Broadway, Musical Theatre, and Leaps and Turns.
Company 1 (6th-8th): Additional performances include the Informance and Summer Showcase
Company 2 (9th-12th): Additional performances include the Informance and Halloween Show
