About This Activity
Description
Tap is performed in shoes of the same name, tap shoes! While tap sounds are made primarily with the feet, tap dance involves the whole body; movements of the arms, legs, and body are incorporated with the tap steps. In tap classes, the exercises and combinations directly develop a sense of coordination, body control, the rhythmic sense and detailed development of the feet.
