Dear Students and Parents,
I want to welcome you to Carriage Place Recreation Center's School of Master Kim's Traditional Tae Kwon Do. .
The instruction offered at Carriage Place is a direct extension of the same martial arts training offered at the main school located in Huntington, West Virginia.
At Carriage Place you will not find our training rooms full of trophies and decorations that may intrigue some prospective students to believe they will become movie star martial artists. We appreciate the opportunity to share our training areas with other programs that also offer meaningful exercise and activity for everyone in the community at a reasonable cost.
The Black Belt instructors at Carriage Place are skilled teachers who believe strongly in the same fundamental philosophy promoted by Grandmaster Kim. As the senior leader in the Do Jahng, Dr. Kim is the consummate friend to all his students while setting the example of how we all should conduct our lives. As a teacher, Dr. Kim is capable of motivating young children to study hard and excel in school. He strives to help his students and others in the community to become positive contributing members of society. These people he calls "Necessities."
We believe you will not find better family-oriented martial arts training or friendlier instructors in Central Ohio. With Master Kim's Traditional Tae Kwon Do training, students will learn: Traditional Oriental Training Methods, Life-saving Self-Defense, Discipline & Self Confidence, Physical & Mental Development, and Weight Control.
At Carriage Place we have one simple goal. "To offer the best martial arts training to anyone who wants to learn while trying to make it a fun experience."
Participants already enrolled in current session have "early registration" available to them prior to the week of registration, in person registration ONLY!
NO New Students! We will accept new students for the 2025 FALL session and again in the 2026 SPRING session.
