Please obtain Leisure Card from Front Desk. This class is ideal for kids who want to try the potter's wheel and learn new hand building styles. Week 1: Review essential hand building methods. Week 2 & 3: Participants will receive 1-on-1 instruction when introduced to basic throwing techniques. Participants will also be free to envision and create their ideas using other handbuilding methods during the times in between. Week 4: Refining works, crafting lids and handles, and adding underglazes if desired. Week 5: Finishing our pieces with food-safe glazes. Fired works will be available for pick-up within two weeks. Please wear old clothes or bring a smock. A $20 supply fee(cash is appreciated, but checks are accepted) is due to the instructor on the first day of class. NO CLASS DATES:
