Welcome to the CRPD Youth Soccer Leagues @ Whetstone. We are happy to have you as a part of our family and hope you find the leagues fun and enjoyable for your child! Our leagues are recreational; thus, it is a learning experience for your child. We stress teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun in all of our leagues. Please see below for important information regarding you and your child for this upcoming season! The Whetstone Youth Soccer League consists of 2 seasons. We will play for 6 weeks in the fall of 2025 and 6 weeks in the spring of 2025. The fall season will begin play on Saturday, September 13 and run through Saturday, October 18, 2025. The spring season will begin play on Saturday, April 11 and run through Saturday, May 16, 2025. All games are played on Saturdays. In the event of severe weather, games may be postponed or cancelled, with this discretion left to the Center Staff. Each child will be required to have shin guards in order to play!
The cost for the 2025-2026 soccer seasons is: 4-5 yr. League = $75, 6-7 yr. League = $75, 8-9 yr. League = $75, 10-12 yr. League = $75. Age as of August 31, 2025. REGISTRATION: APRIL 22 – July 25 (Unless a league fills prior to the deadline!) Registration is on-line: https://columbusrecparks.com/wellness/athletics/soccer/youth/Payment is by credit/debit card. This payment is good for both seasons and refunds will not be made after August 9, 2025! The fee is for the child’s uniform (Shirt. Shorts, socks), and games! Practice time is not a part of the fee and cannot be guaranteed! Each coach will set their practice schedule, please work with your coach and remember they are volunteers who are taking their time to work with your child! If you do not hear anything by August 4, please call the recreation center, 614-645-3217, and we will be glad to assist you!
