BLAST OF BRASS 2026 is a Summer Chamber Music camp for Middle School, High School, and Early College aged students. The focus is designed to inspire the next generation of brass instrument artists. All levels of ability are accepted, one year of experience is required. Campers will participate in the following daily classes and ensembles: Masterclasses and Recitals from major performers. Warm-Up Classes Large Chamber Ensembles Individual Instrument Choirs (Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, and Euphonium / Tuba choirs) Mass Choir Evening activities, such as Swimming, Game Night, Movie Night, and so forth. Students will perform a final concert on Friday evening and the Featured Artist will perform with faculty and student ensembles. Housing Students will be provided 16 meals Commuter Students will be provided 6 meals (5 lunches and Friday dinner) Housing will be hosted in PHASE II Resident Hall on the ETAMU Campus. All classes will be held in the ETAMU MUSIC BUILDING. Featured Artist will be Peter Steiner, international trombone soloist and educator. The BOB Faculty consist of many artist and educators from the Dallas/Fort Worth area who perform regularly with all of the major ensembles in the DFW area.
