About This Activity
This camp will help you turn the corner on your path to hockey greatness! Our Total Skills hockey camp focuses on individual skill development (ISD) and uses unique on-ice equipment to challenge and motivate skaters. During this camp, you will improve your control, agility, reflex, technique, edge, and muscle retention skills. You'll also learn some offensive and defensive moves and get a chance to work on your new skills in controlled game situations. FEATURES: - Each camp “hour” focuses on a specific skill. - Instructors assist and encourage students. - Students gain confidence as they progress. - Camp jersey. - Students have fun! Sample daily itinerary for 2026 Valley Sports Rink 1 Summer Camp (Half Day) 8:15am- 8:45pm Arrival / Check in 8:45am – 9:35am Edge control / Over-speed drills / Deke moves 9:45am – 10:35am Stickhandling / Passing / Shooting 10:45am – 11:35am Striding / Forward & backward skating / Agility 11:40am Pick up / Check out There will be a 10-minute break between the on-ice sessions so players can rest and have a snack and drink. The locker rooms are always supervised. Our staff will take care of equipment needs and any other issues.
