Our Skating/Edge/Stick handling hockey camp specifically focuses on edge control, agility, technique, and puck control. These are core skills that make or break a hockey player, and we are the best training camp to help you excel. We start with various stationary stick handling drills using one puck and then advance to moving drills and multiple pucks. The use of equipment, such as parallel bars, are added to make stick handling more challenging and force you to work on both edges and puck control at the same time. Features: - Each camp “hour” focuses on a specific skill. - Instructors assist and encourage students. - Students gain confidence as they progress. - Daily scrimmage is a showcase of students’ successes. - Camp jersey. - Students have fun! Sample Schedule: Sample daily itinerary for summer camp 8:30am- 8:50am Arrival / Check in 9:00am – 9:50am Edge control / Over-speed drills / Deke moves 10:00am – 10:50am Stickhandling / Passing / Shooting 11:00am – 11:50am Striding / Forward & backward skating / Agility 12:00pm – 1:15pm Lunch / Stretching / coordination games / return to locker rooms 1:30pm - 2:20pm Small Area games / Circuit training 2:30pm - 3:20pm Scrimmage 3:30pm Pick up / Check out There will be a 10-minute breaks between the on-ice sessions so players can rest and have a snack and drink. The locker rooms are always supervised. Our staff will take care of equipment needs and any other issues.
