Footliters First Act: Knights of the Rad Table by Pat Lydersen
It's a typical boring Saturday for Gwen and Artie... until Merlin wakes up from a 1500-year snooze and whisks them away to the days of chivalry! Follow the Legend of King Arthur in this fanciful comedy filled with knights, magic, and a dapper tea-drinking dragon.
Every actor has an opportunity to bring a role with speaking lines to life in this one-act play. Appropriate for both new and experienced performers who want a performance experience with a shorter rehearsal timeframe.
Rehearsals take place over three weeks on Mondays - Thursdays, and the experience culminates in a performance onstage at the CCPA. Rehearsal dates are January 4–7, 11–14, and 18–21.
All performers must be present for all rehearsals during tech week (Jan. 18–21) and for the performance on Friday, Jan. 22. The performance is at 7:00 pm and actors are called at 6:15 pm.
Scholarships are available for every student in need through the Charlie Bates Memorial Scholarship. To request a scholarship, visit CoralvilleArts.org/scholarships.
Price includes a $25 non-refundable fee.
There is no charge for tickets to the performance.
