About This Activity
Description
Take center stage in First Act in two charming productions: The Pumpkin Predicament and Home for the Harvest! Capped at just 12 students, every actor has an opportunity to bring a role to life! Each actor will play a role in two different one-act stories: the first focuses on using spoken word to tell the story and the second focuses on telling a story through movement… both skills needed in acting! Appropriate for young performers who want to perform in a production experience, no previous experience necessary. The Pumpkin PredicamentIt's fall in Storybrook City, and this year Rory is determined to grow the biggest, best pumpkin ever to win the All-City Pumpkin Contest! But there's a problem... or, a predicament... Rory's pumpkins won't grow round! And that is Against The Rules. Will Rory be able to tame the wild pumpkins, or will the judges learn to appreciate a new sort of style?
Home for the HarvestSydney T. Squirrel is late for everything. But not today! Today is the Fall Harvest, the biggest day of the year! Sydney is going to be on time, no matter what. Not even if he has a chance to dig a cave with a chipmunk... or skydive with crows... or to finally beat Bonnie P. Bunny at Ring Around the Tree Stump. Nope, no matter what, he is going to be on time... right? Right?? Right??!
