Description
Ahoy, mateys! Sail the seven seas, explore far-away lands, and take center stage in this adventure-filled introduction to acting! Students will explore characters and plots from famous stories (and create their own!) while developing fundamental acting skills, building confidence, and collaborating with peers. Best for students who want to explore the world of theatre and acting.This semester-long program includes 14 weekly class sessions. Students are welcome to join during the Spring Semester if space is available. The last day to join this class is Thursday, February 5.
A final Spring Showcase performance will be held on the CCPA stage on Friday, April 24, 2026! Two mandatory rehearsals for the Showcase will be held on Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 23, times TBD.

Price includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration prices for Coralville Parks & Recreation programs (including Young Footliters) are subsidized for City of Coralville residents. All others will see a "non-resident fee" which reflects the full cost of the program.
