Explore beloved Disney characters in this high-energy class for new performers! Whether your student longs to “let it go” like Elsa or “just can’t wait to be king” like Simba, they’ll have a blast singing, acting, and dancing with Disney characters in this introduction to the world of theatre! In addition to performance fundamentals, students will also develop problem-solving and collaborative skills… all while building confidence and having fun! Best for children who are new to the world of theatre!All students must be at least 5 years old and have begun Kindergarten before participating.
The Creative Drama & Dance: Disney curriculum features new content each semester, and is repeatable from year to year.
This school-year-long program includes 23 weekly class sessions. Informal semester final sharings will be held on November 21, 2026 and April 10, 2027!
The last day to join this class during the Fall is Saturday, October 10. There are no classes held during December.

Please note that registration is by semester in accordance with the Class Policies below. If you withdraw after the refund window, you will be responsible for completing your payment for the entire semester.
No class March 13 or 20 for Spring Break
Price includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee.
Registration prices for Coralville Parks & Recreation programs (including Young Footliters) are subsidized for City of Coralville residents. All others will see a "non-resident fee" which reflects the full cost of the program.
