About This Activity
Description
This session intended for students in 5th-12th grades. You can also register for 9225.200 for students in 3-5th grades.
This free workshop is perfect for students who are new to auditioning and want to practice the "nuts and bolts" of preparing for a Young Footliters musical. This workshop will walk students through the process of auditioning for the upcoming YF production of Dare to Dream from start to finish.
Guardians are encouraged to attend the first 30 minutes of the workshop with their students. The last 25 minutes of the workshop will give students time to practice the elements of their audition for teaching artists in front of their peers. Guardians are welcome to join a Young Footliters staff member in the lobby for a Q & A session about auditions while students practice the audition process.
*Please note students will not receive coaching on songs or monologues in this session. Students who want individualized feedback on their audition pieces should register for the Monologue Prep or Song Prep workshops.
Registration for audition workshops opens on Monday, June 23 at 1:00 PM pm, the day show audition sign-ups go live.
Best for students who want to understand what to expect at auditions for Dare to Dream.
