About This Activity
Description
All the world's a Broadway stage! In this high-energy class, students will combine singing, acting, and dancing to perform small group and ensemble songs from a variety of musicals. Students will learn proper dance and vocal technique and apply that technique to tell a compelling story through song.
The 12-week session culminates in an informal sharing for friends and family. This course features all new content and is the fourth semester in the two-year Musical Theatre: Sing, Dance, Act curriculum. Students are welcome to join the class progression during any of the four semester rotations. Best for students with some prior musical theatre experience who want to strengthen their performance skills and deepen their understanding of the musical theatre canon.
